We process personal data confidentially and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telecommunications Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).

4. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated by an external hosting provider (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in server log files transmitted by your browser. This may include in particular:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • page/file accessed
  • referrer URL
  • browser type and version
  • operating system

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable website operation). Log data is generally stored for a short period and then deleted unless retention is required for security reasons.

Technically necessary storage

We use local storage in your browser (localStorage) to remember your choice in the cookie banner (key: mende-cookie-consent). This is technically necessary to document your consent and avoid repeated prompts.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in user-friendly consent management) or § 25(2) TTDSG.

We use statistics and marketing cookies or scripts only if you expressly consent. Currently, no analytics or marketing tools are configured. Should such services be added in future, this will only happen after your consent via the cookie banner.

6. Contact form

When you send us an inquiry via a contact form, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, company, email, phone, message and any uploaded files) to handle your request.

Depending on the form type, purposes may include:

  • project and manufacturing inquiries
  • job applications (including CV and attachments)

Transmission is via POST to our web server; data is forwarded by email to Willfried Mende GmbH. Confirmation that you have read this privacy policy is required.

  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries)
  • for applications additionally § 26 BDSG

Uploaded files (e.g. PDF, STEP, ZIP) are used solely to process your inquiry and are not passed on to third parties without a legal basis.

7. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the personal data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the inquiry) to handle your request.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Retention period

We process personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Inquiries from contact forms and emails are deleted after processing is complete unless further retention is required for commercial or tax law reasons.

Application documents are deleted after the recruitment process is completed unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests require otherwise.

9. Disclosure to third parties

We generally disclose your personal data to third parties only where necessary for contract performance or handling your inquiry, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have consented. The hosting provider processes data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

10. Data security

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss or unauthorised access. Data transmission over the internet generally uses TLS/HTTPS encryption.

Our website may contain links to external websites (e.g. LinkedIn). The respective operators are solely responsible for their content and privacy practices.
